I work from home a couple of days a week, so I spend a good deal of time in my little office. At first, I just wanted a space that was functional and quiet. Now, though, thanks to Pinterest, I am inspired to create a space that is not only functional and quiet, but also beautiful and inspiring. I have already gotten started on my home office makeover and can't wait to show you the progress I've made, but first I wanted to share some of the spaces across the interwebs that have started my creative juices flowing.
I heart organization. A lot.
Simple, light and bright.
Love the bookcases with painted or wallpapered backs.
Love this desk.
This is really the space that inspired it all for me. The layout of this office is almost identical to mine and I LOVE her stenciled walls. I am so stenciling my walls!
More fantastic organization. Le sigh.
Love the inspiration board, the library ladder (swoon!) and the pops of color.
Oh. My. Heavens. What I wouldn't give to work in a space like that!
I love the artful display of books. I'm digging that their all the same color. And the chair! Be still my heart!
Okay, I could go on and on. I'll spare you! But aren't these home offices heavenly? I'm going to attempt to take the things I love out of those spaces and incorporate them as best I can into my own home office. On a budget, of course. And using much of what I already have (I have plenty of books. Seriously, I need to go on a book diet). This is going to be fun!
