I am the worst at trying to describe who I am. Instead here's a list-in-progress of random facts about little ol' me:
- I love to read and write. They are my passions.
- I am an appellate attorney. My first year and a half of practicing law was as a trial attorney and I hated it.
- I am part Scottish, Cherokee Indian and Irish. I have been to Scotland once and I left my heart there.
- I am stubborn and hard-headed but I am fiercely loyal.
- I was born in Illinois and have lived in Wisconsin and Texas.
- I can play one song on the guitar.
- I love the outdoors.
- I have two cats. One is crazy and the other is a little dumb.
- I have two sisters. One lives in Hawaii.
- My parents were hippies. They are musicians and they are very talented.
- I have traced my Scottish family history back to 1746 when they came to America.
- I love to dance and sing. I will dance in public but I will not sing in public.
- Red wine is my favorite adult beverage, followed by vodka.
- I have learned the hard way to trust what my body is telling me instead of what doctors tell me. 98% of the time they have been wrong and I have been right.
- Because of my aversion to doctors, I tend to seek out homeopathic remedies for ailments and put off doctor's visits for as long as possible.
- I believe chiropractors are miracle workers.
- I am a Christian, but I do not like organized religion for the most part. I think that some churches have forgotten how to truly worship our Lord and have become pharisaic.
- I do not like to cook.
- My favorite movie of all time is Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
- I am a list-maker. My list-making has sometimes gotten out of control so now I keep a small leather bound lined journal and make all my lists in it. I don't leave home without it.
- I love cheesecake.
